This property is a 40-level, premium-grade building located in Perth’s CBD, offering office, retail and extensive parking space. The client was seeking a lighting upgrade for the 5-storey carpark, with a desire to see improvements in durability and energy efficiency. As such, they needed a reputable electrical contractor to specify and install an LED lighting solution.
Infrared Services provided a number of options for the client to consider, including LED light fittings with integrated occupancy sensors to dramatically reduce energy consumption; for the carpark at Exchange Tower, the reduction was approximately 90% compared to standard fluorescent lights.
At the same time, additional emergency lighting was needed at the site to meet the requirements of AS2293. We were also able to help the client satisfy this condition and comply with the standards.
As the carpark at Exchange Tower had to remain operational throughout the duration of this project, all work was undertaken outside of business hours. Infrared Services is used to working at hours that best suit the client, and the building’s tenants, so this posed no problem to us. We were able to complete this contract in good time, with a project value of approximately $70k.
